Scott Welden MD

Dr. Scott Welden attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati where he also did a four-year residency in Emergency Medicine. Following his residency, he became the medical director of three different emergency departments around the Cincinnati area. After practicing as a medical director for 7 years, Welden founded an urgent care on the eastside of Cincinnati where he was the medical director and owner. He grew up in a family of attorneys and had always been interested in the medical legal aspects of medicine.

In 2009, Welden shifted his primary focus to doing medical legal consulting. He has worked since then sharpening his medical legal skills working on the plaintiff side with several local and national law firms. He has offered insightful perspective to 100’s of medical malpractice cases performing assistance, research, support and insight in cases involving almost every specialty over the last several years.

His versatile experience in medicine makes him an ideal partner where the attorneys need a quick analysis of the merits of their cases and ongoing medical guidance while navigating the complexities of this specialized area of the law. His knowledge, critical thinking skills and teaching experience in a wide variety of settings will be invaluable in enhancing your medical knowledge of the case.
